Current cohort locker

Reservation Terms Summary

Public, non-signable summary. This page summarizes the owner-completed business draft dated July 13, 2026. It is not the private reservation agreement and cannot reserve a locker. Approved applicants receive the complete private agreement identifying the legal seller before any payment instructions. Both documents remain subject to counsel review before member payments are accepted.

The Whole Beef Locker is a ten-member cohort program priced at $9,999 paid in full. The current cohort closes August 14, 2026, or when ten approved applicants have signed and their payments have cleared, whichever occurs first.

1. Application and reservation

Applying is free and does not create a reservation. An applicant must be an adult, have a New York City delivery address, be approved, sign the private agreement and make one cleared $9,999 payment. A numbered locker is assigned only after payment clears.

2. What the Program includes

One grass-fed, grass-finished animal raised without antibiotics is dedicated to the locker after the written Animal Secured event. The Program includes processing under a USDA grant of inspection, the member cut sheet, package-level inventory, temperature-monitored commercial frozen storage, twelve scheduled NYC deliveries and Concierge Desk administration. The member does not own a live animal.

3. Payment and clearing

Approved applicants receive a private invoice after signing. Payment is made in full by bank transfer or wire and counts only after the bank or payment provider reports the complete amount received and available. An initiated, pending, failed, reversed or unauthorized transfer does not reserve a locker.

4. Full refund before the animal is secured

Payment is fully refundable on request until the supplier has accepted the order and payment, assigned an identified animal or documented animal from a defined lot to the locker, the USDA-inspected processing path is documented and the Animal Secured Notice is sent. A complete automatic refund also applies if the current cohort of ten does not fill by the close date or Pasture Reserve cannot confirm the written sourcing, processing, storage or delivery standard. Required refunds are initiated to the originating account within two business days.

5. Actual yield and finite cuts

Approximately 400 lb of packaged beef is the planning target, not a guaranteed net weight. Final cuts, weights and package counts vary by animal, butcher, cut sheet, trim, aging, inspection and processor. Premium cuts are finite, and selecting one use can replace another use of the same section. Returned bones and specialty parts are finite, recorded separately when available and excluded from the packaged-beef planning target.

6. Storage and dedicated inventory

Finished packages are held at 0°F or below in temperature-monitored commercial frozen storage and entered from the real processor packing list. Lot identity is maintained. If the dedicated inventory is lost, spoiled, recalled or cannot safely be delivered, the private agreement provides the Program-failure refund unless the member knowingly accepts another written remedy.

7. Delivery and locker year

The first-delivery window opens September 1, 2026; it is not a guaranteed same-day delivery date. The Program includes twelve scheduled monthly NYC deliveries. Monthly boxes generally plan toward 30–36 lb but reconcile to the real finite inventory. A member may request up to two additional deliveries in a month with at least five days' notice, drawn from that same inventory. Any later locker year requires a new written agreement.

8. Member responsibilities

Members keep delivery information current, provide timely cut and delivery instructions, arrange safe delivery access, inspect packages promptly, freeze delivered packages and follow package labels and government food-safety guidance. The Program makes no medical or nutritional promise and is for household use, not resale.

9. Delays and material changes

Events outside reasonable control may shift sourcing, processing, inspection, storage transfer or delivery timing. They do not permit an undisclosed animal substitution, unsafe delivery or avoidance of the promised Program-failure refund. A material change requires written communication; silence is not acceptance.

10. Recall and food-safety response

Pasture Reserve may pause a delivery in response to a supplier, processor, warehouse, carrier, regulator, label, temperature-record or product concern. Members agree to follow written hold, return or disposal instructions. Non-waivable food-safety rights remain intact.

11. Successor LLC

The private agreement authorizes a transfer to a New York LLC controlled by the sole proprietor only if that LLC assumes every fulfillment and refund obligation in writing. The transition cannot change the locker number, price, funds balance, refund rights, delivery window or service standard.

12. Communications, privacy and signatures

Program notices and documents may be delivered electronically. Personal information is used to review and perform the locker service, maintain required records, prevent fraud and comply with law; it is not sold. The private agreement permits electronic signatures and PDF counterparts.

13. Liability and preserved rights

The private draft contains a conventional limitation for ordinary contract damages, with express exceptions for promised refunds, fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, food safety, payment-information misuse and rights that cannot lawfully be limited. It does not waive non-waivable consumer protections.

14. Governing law and disputes

The private draft uses New York law and a fourteen-day good-faith written resolution period before ordinary litigation. It does not mandate arbitration or waive lawful class or representative actions. Available New York City courts, including small-claims court, remain available.

15. Complete private agreement

The signed private agreement, accepted application materials, numbered invoice and any later signed amendment form the complete reservation documents. The private agreement controls over this public summary.

This public summary is not a signature page and does not create a reservation. Counsel review remains pending for the private agreement, this summary, the website terms and the privacy policy.
