Reservation Agreement

This agreement covers the reservation of one numbered founding locker in The Whole Beef Locker program operated by Pasture Reserve NYC (“we,” “us”). It is between us and the applicant named on the reservation (“you,” the “member”). No payment is collected until after the member has spoken with their concierge and received these terms in writing.
1. What your payment reserves
Full payment reserves one numbered founding locker (N° 1–10). Your locker number is assigned when we confirm your reservation in writing, after your concierge call. Payment is held against your specific animal; it is a reservation, not a forfeitable fee.
2. Fully refundable until your animal is secured
Your payment is fully refundable, on request, at any time before we secure your specific animal with our farm partner. We will notify you in writing before your animal is secured. In addition, you receive a full refund — without needing to ask — if the founding cohort of ten does not fill, or if we cannot source or deliver your locker to our standard.
3. How payment works
Full payment is made by wire transfer or ACH — not by card. We will send written payment instructions with the amount and the due date. No payment is collected until after the member has spoken with their concierge and received these terms in writing.
4. Founding privileges
Founding members receive: (1) a numbered founding locker (N° 1–10) held permanently in their name; (2) 50% off the second-year locker, offered to founding members before any general availability.
5. What varies — and what doesn't
Whole-animal buying means final cuts, package counts, and weights vary by animal, butcher, cut sheet, trim, aging, and inspection. Published yields and per-pound figures are estimates, not guarantees. Premium steak cuts are finite: one animal yields a fixed number of ribeyes, strips, and tenderloins, portioned across the year. What does not vary: your locker holds the entire yield of one animal, dedicated to you and inventoried to the package.
6. Storage and delivery
Your beef is held in temperature-monitored commercial frozen storage and delivered to your New York City address in monthly installments. Service is available in New York City only. September 1 is our target delivery window for first deliveries — a window, not a guaranteed date; sourcing, processing, and inspection timelines can move it.
7. If something changes
If we cannot fulfill your locker as described — before or after your animal is secured — we will tell you promptly and you may choose a full refund of all amounts paid. This is a founding-cohort program; we would rather refund you than deliver something other than what was promised.
